The slide guitar work alone on Viola Lee Blues was worth the ticket price. About 10 minutes into Sunshine I knew this would ben a keeper. Please keep playing with this band Phil!!

Barry Sless owns this show. The pedal steel work on Box of Rain is something to behold. Great energy and song selection. Really crazy feedback jams, very Solid Help>Slip into a lively Golden Road. Tumbleweed in Eden, a Robinson song brought over from New Earth Mud is fantastic on this show. Amazing instrumentation on that tune, very eastern sounding at times. This is one hell of a recording. Im still crossing fingers for a board though. This show deserves it.

This was all i hoped for: the ensemble pared down to its essential core and rockin hard. When i saw that big brown bass, i knew we were in for a ride. Grab this excellent recording & thank your stars for Phil & *all* his friends.
btw, it'd be great if these guys could stay together long enough to take advantage of Chris's songwriting--the mud tunes have been fantastic.

How in the Hell do you get an audience recording that sounds so good? You can here the crowd, but the sound isn't intrusive. And I'm gaining a whole new appreciation for Mookie's work on keys. He's an ass-kicker! Chris' guitar work is impressive as well. Many brilliant moments, particularly when Phil steers the ship away from shore. FWIW, Half-Step seques into Alabama. Lovin my Phil!
